When pricing a groom we take the following factors into consideration

We need to consider these factors as they determine the levels of work required. We do not want to overcharge you neither do we wish to underestimate our work. The price of the grooming will be agreed with you before we start the job.

Please note that we will not be able to give the exact price over the phone / online as we consider every case separately.

Dry Bath Service – from £85

(No Water Required)

Service includes:

Consultation:

Discussion with the groomer about the cat’s general coat condition and the level of grooming required.

Claw Clipping:

Safe and efficient clipping of the cat’s claws.

De-matting:

Clipping off and brushing out all knots and mats if any.

De-shedding and Brush out the entire coat:

Using J.P. Mitchell Oatmeal Conditioning, Instant Detangling Spray, or Waterless Foam shampoo (no rinse required).

Styling:

Custom styling upon customer request, including tidying paws, scissor trimming, clipping the bottom area and/or belly, and tidying the chest/mane.

Eye and Ear Cleaning:

Utilising J.P. Mitchell Ear and Eye Wipes for gentle cleaning.

Body Wiping:

Using J.P. Mitchell Full Body & Paw Bath Wipes for a clean finish.

Sensitive Skin Care:

Use of Medicated Aloe Vera Veterinary Formula for cats with sensitive skin, at no extra charge.

Grooming Advice:

Recommendations on tools, products, and aftercare for grooming your cat.

Wet Bath – from £120

(Wet Bath means water required)

Wet Bath is an additional service to the Full Cat Grooming; cannot be chosen on its own and includes:

Consultation:

Discussion with the groomer about the cat’s general coat condition and the level of grooming required.

Two warm baths with J. P. Mitchell Pet Shampoos such as J. P. Pet Awapoochi, Super Bright, Oatmeal, Calming Moisturizing or Tearless Shampoo. The shampoo will be chosen in accordance with the cat’s coat condition and specific requirements.
Flea bath with J. P. Mitchell Tea Tree Spray, if required at extra charge.
Medicated shampoo treatment on customer request, prescribed by their Veterinary Surgeon if required, at no extra charge.
Rinse the cat’s coat with J. P. Mitchell Oatmeal Conditioner.
Hand blow drying (no cage drying) with brushing out of the coat with J. P. Mitchell Oatmeal Conditioning Spray.

Full Clip

The service includes

Consultation:

Discussion with the groomer about the cat’s general coat condition and it needs.

Claw Clipping:

Safe and efficient clipping of the cat’s claws.

Full Clip (Lion Cut):

Shaving off the entire coat to about a quarter of an inch or half a centimetre, leaving hair on the head, front part of the cat, boots on legs, and a trimmed tail, which are finished with scissors according to customer specifications.

Foam Bath:

Using J.P. Mitchell Waterless Foam Shampoo that requires no rinsing.

Eye and Ear Cleaning:

Using J.P. Mitchell Ear and Eye Wipes for gentle and effective cleaning.

Body Wiping:

Using J.P. Mitchell Full Body & Paw Bath Wipes.

Coat Finishing:

Application of Liquid Silk Protein to enhance the coat’s shine.

Grooming Advice:

Recommendations on grooming tools, products, and aftercare.

Kitten groom (under 6 months)

Starting from £45

The service includes

Consultation:

Discussion with the groomer about the cat’s general coat condition and it needs.

Claw Clipping:

Safe and efficient clipping of the cat’s claws.

De-matting:

Clipping off and brushing out all knots and mats if any.

De-shedding and Brush out the entire coat:

Using J.P. Mitchell Oatmeal Conditioning, Instant Detangling Spray, or Waterless Foam shampoo (no rinse required)

Please note

Claw clipping is complimentary with each cat grooming session.
Cat claw clipping for walk-in customers costs £20.
Cats with fleas will incur an additional charge of £20.
An extra fee will be charged for cats with thick, badly matted coats, or those that are old and difficult to handle.
Hygiene shave available upon request, no grooming included, for £50.

It is, as you will appreciate, challenging to give an exact quote without assessing the specific cat, and as you know every cat has its own unique qualities.

Home visits may be considered; please ask us for further details.

To keep a cat’s coat in good condition, we recommend visiting our professional groomer every 4 to 6 weeks!
